Gritty Beauty is not a shelf you browse — it is a professionally guided skincare experience. Every product we carry has been vetted through a corneotherapy and barrier-repair lens, and we stand behind that standard. If something isn't working the way you expected, we want to understand why before anything else. In most cases, results come down to how a product is being used, not the product itself — and that is something we can work through together. Whatever brought you to this page, reach out first.

 

CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS Under California law (Civil Code §1723), you have the right to a refund in the original form of payment for any item that can be resold, returned within the stated window, in its original condition. Our policy meets or exceeds these requirements. For questions about your rights, visit oag.ca.gov.

Standard Returns

UNUSED & UNOPENED ITEMS

Unused, unopened products may be returned within 14 days of the delivered date. Items must be in new, resalable condition with original packaging intact.

Product value minus a 10% restocking fee and return shipping cost.

Before shipping anything back, please wait for approval — unapproved returns cannot be processed. Once we receive and inspect your items, your refund will be issued within 3–4 business days.

Damaged, Lost & Stolen Packages

HOW CARRIER CLAIMS WORK

All Gritty Beauty orders ship with carrier coverage included. Orders placed through Shop Pay include up to $200 in coverage. All other orders include up to $100. You can increase your coverage at checkout by adding GB Package Protection.

When something goes wrong in transit, we file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. This is not an automatic replacement — it is a formal carrier claim process that typically resolves within a few business days. If approved, the covered amount will be credited to your Gritty Beauty account and can be applied toward a new order.

 

If your package is marked delivered but missing: First check around your door, with neighbors, and with anyone else in your household. If it's genuinely gone, contact us and we'll help you file a USPS Missing Mail Request. Please do this promptly — carrier claims have time windows. We are not able to take responsibility for packages stolen after confirmed delivery or left unattended for extended periods, but we will do everything we can to support the claim process.

 

If your items arrived damaged: Take photos of the damaged box and all contents before touching anything. Do not discard the packaging. In some cases, USPS will ask you to bring the original box and contents to a Post Office location as part of the claim — keeping everything intact protects your ability to receive coverage.

Once you notify us, we will file the claim. If it is approved, your account will be credited based on your coverage amount. Claims that are denied by the carrier due to insufficient documentation or policy exclusions are outside of our control.

True allergic reactions to well-formulated skincare are rare, but they do happen — and we never take them lightly.

 

Before you purchase: If you have known sensitivities or allergies, please reach out through our contact form first. We'll review ingredient lists with you so you can make a confident, informed decision. Most products are available as samples to specifically let you test before committing to full sizes.

If a reaction occurs, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if needed. 

Reactions that result from use inconsistent with product instructions cannot be approved for return.

Order Changes & Cancellations

BEFORE IT SHIPS

Need to cancel or modify an order? Contact us as quickly as possible through the form below. If your order hasn't shipped, we'll do our best to accommodate the change.

Cancellations on processed orders are subject to a 10% cancellation fee, refunded to the original form of payment. Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled — please refer to our return process instead.
